In August 2020 the New Zealand government passed the Infrastructure Funding and Financing Act to enable it to access new sources of funding and finance for its infrastructure needs. We break down the legislative tool and analyse how it might be applied to offer an exciting solution for wholly or partially funding infrastructure projects.
